Finding Beauty In The Darkness
Vidua Fidelis means 'Faithful Widow' in Latin. After losing five babies in miscarriages as well as my husband suddenly in 2022, I found myself thrust into widowhood and grief while trying to raise my surviving young son. Vidua Fidelis is not just a way to support my grieving family, but also a way for me to honour my late husband's memory, the family we built together, and our shared
Catholic faith.

How can I pray for you today?
Mary was the Mother of God, but we often overlook that she was also Joseph's widow. She knows the grief of a mother who has lost a son, and the grief of a woman who has lost her spouse. And still, she stood faithfully at the foot of the cross.
Through Vidua Fidelis, I am committed to emulate the redemptive suffering of our Lady, by offering up my own suffering for my beloved husband, our children, and those of you who would like for me to keep your intentions close to my heart.
